Solar panel cleaning in Brisbane, done properly
Panels are cleaned by hand using soft bristle brushes and purified water to remove dust, bird droppings, lichen and organic build up that reduce system output. Purified water dries without leaving minerals behind, so there is no residue baked onto the glass by the sun.
Every technician who works on your roof holds a working at heights certification. Solar panels are cleaned last in our Premium Roof Package, after the gutters and roof, so no runoff settles on them afterwards.
What a Dript solar panel clean includes

Pigeons nest under solar panels because the gap is warm and sheltered, and their nests and droppings build up fast. We clear the nests and droppings out from under the panels, then fit a heavy duty mesh around the edge of the panels, clipped to the frames, so birds cannot get back underneath. Nothing is drilled into the panels or the roof.

- Solar panel cleaning is designed to maintain performance and does not include removal of hard water stains or calcium scaling.
- Pigeon mesh keeps birds out from under the panels. It does not stop them landing on the roof, and droppings on top of the panels are taken care of by a panel clean.
