Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Dript Exterior Cleaning ("we", "us", "our") provides exterior cleaning services across Brisbane and South East Queensland. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

1. What information we collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and suburb or property address.
  • Property and job details — the type of property, the services you're interested in, and any details you give us about the job (for example access notes, surfaces, or concerns).
  • Communications — records of quotes, calls, SMS and emails between you and us.
  • Job records and photos — before-and-after photos and job notes taken while completing your work. If we'd like to use photos of your property in our marketing, we identify the property only by general area, never by your name or exact address.
  • Payment records — invoicing and payment details needed to bill for our services. We do not store your full card numbers ourselves.
  • Job applications — if you apply to work with us, the details you provide such as your resume, work history and licence status.
  • Website usage — like most websites, basic analytics and advertising data may be collected through cookies when you visit our site.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you — through the quote and careers forms on this website, over the phone, by SMS or email, and in person when quoting or completing work. Some enquiries also reach us through our advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) when you submit your details there.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare your free quote.
  • To schedule, perform and follow up the services you book.
  • To send invoices and receipts, and process payments.
  • To ask for your feedback or a review after a job.
  • To let you know about seasonal reminders, offers or services we think may interest you (you can opt out at any time).
  • To assess job applications.
  • To improve our website, services and advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers we use to run our business — such as our customer-relationship management (CRM) system, job scheduling and quoting software, website and form hosting, communication tools for SMS and email, payment processing, and advertising and analytics platforms (such as Google and Meta) — and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Some of these providers store data on servers located overseas (for example in the United States). We take reasonable steps to work only with reputable providers who protect your information.

5. Marketing and opting out

From time to time we may contact you by SMS or email with reminders or offers. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, or you can simply reply and ask us to stop — we'll action it promptly. Opting out of marketing never affects messages we need to send about a job you've booked.

6. How we store and protect it

Your information is stored in secured, access-controlled business systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records).

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; the website will still work without them.

8. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we no longer need. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond as soon as we can.

9. Questions and complaints

If you have a question or believe we've mishandled your personal information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out quickly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
